Mestiçaria is part of a project that tends to bring beauty and recognition to
of multiraciality.

   "Over the years, positive references were made to miscegenation and not to the mestizo body.
 Miscegenation was the project that would make people white, but this body that was 
"in the middle of the road" nobody wants to talk about it. The ambiguity in appearance is seen as an obstacle 
as an obstacle to understanding and while society was not thinking about racism, this body was 
body was the one to be whitened and now that they are starting to discuss racism, they talk about the black 
and this half-breed, this brown person is the individual without belonging because when you

 Darcy Ribeiro says that the mestizo is the "son of no one" and until today the Brazilian people refuse to tell the

   "Ao longo dos anos se fez referencias positivas a miscigenação e não ao corpo mestiço.
 A miscigenação era o projeto que tornaria as pessoas brancas mas esse corpo que ficou 
" no meio do caminho" ninguém quer falar dele. A ambiguidade na aparencia é vista como 
obstáculo de compreensão e enquanto a sociedade não estava pensando o racismo, esse 
corpo era aquele a ser embranquecido e agora que começaram a discutir o racismo se fala 
do negro... e esse mestiço, esse pardo é o indivíduo sem pertencimento porque quando voce 
discute negritude ainda mais se inspirando nos Estados Unidos não é a mesma coisa que discutir
 a multirracialidade e esse mestiço é o reflexo do Brasil que é negado.

 Darcy Ribeiro fala que o mestiço é o "filho de ninguém" e até hoje o brasileiro se nega a contar a
 história desses corpos porque o Brasil se nega a contar sua própria história, cheia de dores..."
