The Kin DAO's Hyphae exhibition touches on the extractive value structures disrupting life systems and facilitates perspective shifts to collectively redefine worth. The exhibit emphasizes the importance of creativity, collaboration, and how blockchain technology is supporting this value.
Beyond gold, text, gems and crystals, moss, fungi, and
coffee beans are woven throughout the installations. These tender touches each offer a meditation on value systems. Crystals are dislodged from the earth, cut, tumbled, and distributed. While we calculate each piece’s value, the crystal itself is living and interconnected with land and bedrock. This installation and the digital art within the gold frame is digital collage art is by Asya Avdrahman.
